On the south East coast of Sardinia, at the end of the Cagliari's Gulf, is standing Villasimius, one of the most important touristic centre of the island. The village, inhabited for the whole year, is easily reachable from Cagliari, taking the Via Leonardo da Vinci, a scenic road, which allows to admire the amazing landscapes of the coast. Nicknamed "Pearl of the Mediterranea", Villasimius is one of the most famous and beautiful touristic cities of Sardinia, and already for some years, an enjoyed seaside destination. Its blue and limpid sea, its long white sandy beaches, its hidden creeks and its rocky coasts make everybody loving the zone. And all those who are fond of the sea can easily dive in the calm waters of its coastal nature reserve, rich in Mediterranean fauna and flora. The city offers a great choice of different types of accomodation and during the summer, play activities, religious celebrations, sports activities and other horse ridings allow tourists to have fun in the zone. In the evening, the small city comes alive and becomes one of the best gathering places in the South coast : most tourists go to the center to take a drink or an ice-cream and remain in a typical restaurant or pizzeria to have dinner. Besides, the night offers a lot of fun with some of the best discos in the surroundings.
