In the heart of Sardinia, directly on the beach, rises Horse Country. In the back the mountainous highlands of Arcidano and the Giara plateau of Gesturi, both rich in local flora and fauna. horse shows are held during the whole year in the Palacavallo, which can host in its tribunes 1.150 spectators. Moreover, Horse Country is furnished with an outdoor grass arena of more than 11.000 square meters. The wide area reserved to the horse stables, characterized by an internal court yard, was built in the traditional English style conferring to the complex an international taste and elegance.
The Horse Country Resort offers its guests the opportunity to stay in 3 different 4 star hotels, immersed in an ancient pine forest in Arborea, less than one hundred metres from the sea. There are more than 900 beds in charming rooms that are well designed in a mix of modern and traditional Sardinian. PERFORMANCES AND SHOWS
Adjacent to Tropicana bar, shows are organized by the Horse Country animation staff, which includes national and international staff members. This fun and close-knit group of young people entertains visitors of all ages by proposing games, tournaments, group sports lessons, parties, shows in the outdoor amphitheatre, piano bar, outdoor cinema, theme nights, karaoke and typical Sardinian folk dancing.
But also the Western style is represented at Horse Country, here you can find a real Western village with a saloon, genuine country music, a Tex Mex restaurant, three boutiques specialized in horse-riding items and a drugstore with a rich assortment of renowned hand-crafted goods and a wide choice of typical wine and food products representing the Sardinian culture. Like in an old movie, the Western village comes to life all nights with exciting exhibitions of country music, "can-can" dancing events and mechanic bull races.
ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN
Horse Country takes care of the little ones by creating a world fit for small children that can be found at Baby Club (ages 2 to 5 years). The Pony Club is a facility especially for young visitors from 5 to 12 years old, providing fun and games under the watchful supervision of the dedicated staff of specialists. Junior Club for young people from 12 years or older, ensures exciting moments and new groups of friends.
The Club Card allows children to enjoy entertainment day and night. They are free to access the shaded chairs on the beach and by the swimming pools, to use the canoes and paddleboats, as well as to take swimming, sailing, windsurfing and archery lessons. Both the Pony Club and Junior Club services are included in the Club Card. Give your child, with Ponylandia - Where little riders grow, the opportunity to live an experience between nature and joy.

The culinary offer at Horse Country is prepared carefully with attention to detail by the most experienced gourmet chefs on the island and you will enjoy your food surrounded by the resort's stunning scenery.

For your relax time, to meet some new friend or simply to take a good drink, Horse Country offers to its guests the possibility to choose between several refreshment points as the beach bar, caffè and the charachteristic old west style saloon, where you can enjoy with your friends and family.
EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
The Horse Country equestrian centre is located near the resort and it covers an area of about 400 hectares. Open all year, we offer outdoor equestrian activities that are suitable for beginners as well as for more experienced riders. Thanks to our qualified instructors you can practice, take lessons, go trekking, horseback riding or enjoy an exciting trek through the pine forest or along the beach.
Those who come to Horse Country can choose what kind of knight they want to be: decide decide whether to practice elegant English riding style, enjoy regular working-style saddles or feel like a cowboy and try the western riding facilities.
Every activity here is conducted in full compliance with safety standards. You will find beautiful horses that are well trained and that can even help guide less experienced riders! There are two racing areas, one indoors and one outdoors that make riding possible at any time of year. There is a sandy practice field with modern stables surrounding it and a comfortable paddock. For equestrian shows and indoor races the large horse arena is available. This covered ring is capable of accommodating the up to 1150 spectators all ready to applaud the exciting performances of the experienced riders!
In 2008 the Western Village is planned to open. It is outfitted with a saloon, a restaurant, a drug store, boutiques, a stage for performances and lots of music. It providesIt provides all that is needed to recreate a festive western environment in the heart of Sardinia.
SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
For sport lovers, Horse Country Group offers many sporting facilities: a field with synthetic grass, which is ideal for soccer, volleyball and basketball, a regular tennis court, a grass soccer field, a bocce field, ping pong tables and an area immersed in the pine forest dedicated to archery.
BEACHES AND SEA
Horse Country has wide beaches with fine sand that borders shallow and warm waters creating an unique exotic feel. About 10 kilometres long, the beach is ideal for long walks or horseback riding. It is equipped with deck-chairs, shaded areas, showers and bathrooms, changing rooms and a wooden walkway that comes up from the seashore. There are also varied services and sports equipment: Canoes, Paddles, Surfboard, Wind Surf and Ski Boats, Sail Boats, Rubber dinghy rentals and Beach Volley.
WELLBEING
The Poseidonya SPA adjacent at Horse Country Resort, offers more than 700 square metres conceived and designed for those who make the "Wellness" an important part of his day to take care of themselves and regenerate at sea or on horseback, after a long day of work.
It rises 250 meters from the sea to benefit from healthy marine waters.
